My Blogging Experience

May 20, 2009 5:00 a.m. My cellphone alarms. It’s the time I set for the Camp Blog 2009 Workshop – Day 3.

Lazily, I got up of bed, took a bath and prepared myself for the day. We had our breakfast and then moved on to the training site at the Pampanga Agricultural Colleges (PAC). Then on training, usual things happened for the day. Lectures….lectures….lectures. As I dozed off in my seat secretly, the next speaker was introduced. Mr. Jose A. Torres Jr. This person got up and started speaking and cracked jokes along the lectures. My spirit rose and my mind started to juggle. This is what I came here for!

Ok, so presentation….presentation and presentation until we were now allowed to hands on and create our blog. Actually this was not my first blog. I had a blog account from another site but I only wrote something like “Being First Time” in blogging so much so that this activity was nothing new to me now but I’m euphoric just the same.

WordPress.com is a stranger to me until that day. I found it nice and user friendly not only because it is programed that way but maybe also because of the guidance of Mr. Jose Torres Jr. that everything came smoothly and I’m inspired. We created our wordpress account and little did we know that it was already time for heading the Villas.

Today, May 21, 2009 9:00 a.m. The lecture on blogging continued and this time we had the chance of making our first post on this site. It was exciting! Even more when we posted pictures and videos. I had a feeling of elation when I know somebody reads my blog. Sometimes I can see others open my account and read but when I look they close my account. Pity on me! If you only knew, I would have opened it and showed it to you. It’s free!

Now that I’m inspired and know the steps, there’s a lot more coming soon.
